Job Description
- Proven experience as a Structural Metal Fitter or similar role
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
- Expertise in using a variety of hand and power tools, including welding equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials and equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety protocols
Job Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout requirements
- Measure and mark dimensions and reference lines on material
- Cut, shape, and fit metal components using hand and power tools
- Weld, bolt, or rivet parts together to assemble fabricated metal products
- Inspect completed assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes
