They assess the level of risk associated with each hazard and develop strategies to control or eliminate them.
Safety Training and Education: Safety Technicians develop and deliver safety training programs to employees, covering topics such as hazard recognition, emergency procedures, personal protective equipment (PPE) usage, and safe work practices. They may also conduct toolbox talks or safety meetings to reinforce key concepts and address specific safety concerns.
Incident Investigation: In the event of accidents, injuries, or near misses, Safety Technicians conduct thorough investigations to determine the root causes and contributing factors. They document their findings, identify corrective actions to prevent recurrence, and communicate lessons learned to management and employees.
